The British Postgraduate Philosophy Association (BPPA) is an association of postgraduate philosophy students in the United Kingdom.
The association was formed to provide an active community of support and advice for young philosophers, bridging geographical boundaries between different universities and departments. The BPPA is best known for its Annual Conference and Careers Workshop, as well as for its Masterclasses. Ongoing regular events like the philosophy groups are also offered.
As a community of philosophers, the BPPA widely supports initiatives to encourage diversity within the discipline. We welcome all sorts of inquiries in this regard, and are happy to support and sponsor conferences and events. We also offer a membership for those seeking to access more exclusive resources of the BPPA. You can find more info in our Join section.
