The Executive Committee of the British and Irish Postgraduate Philosophy Association is proud and pleased to present the BIPPA Annual Conference 2022, which will take place on the 11th and 12th of November 2022. As every year, we gather once more to celebrate the postgraduate philosophy community in the UK and the Republic of Ireland, and to offer graduate students the opportunity to present their work in a friendly environment, as well as to hear from some of the most renowned philosophers of the British Isles. This year, we have decided to prepare a conference around the theme of race, gender, and identity, following this committee’s bid to promote a diverse and decolonised philosophy curriculum that visibilizes themes and social groups that have been systematically neglected in the history of our discipline. Moreover, and as part of our ongoing effort to be more present in the postgraduate philosophy community in the Republic of Ireland (an effort that includes a change in the name of the association and the creation of an Office for the Republic of Ireland in the executive committee), we have decided to organise our conference at University College Dublin. The call for abstracts is now open, and you can find all the information here: https://bippa.uk/index.php/annual-conference/
